Wherein 73 Bloggers Sing the Praises of the Unsung

This is a re-tweet found from the page of Marcia Kochel. Haven't had much time to look at it - but many of the titles were unfamiliar to me, so I can't wait to dig in.

Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins

This sequel to the Hunger Games moves swiftly and involves many of the same characters. Readers of this series are excited to continue the story of Katniss, Peeta and Gale and will be very pleased to discover that there is a third book on the way. In this story, the emphasis has shifted from the fighting in the Hunger Games to the repression of Panem's citizens. Hard times seem to be ahead for everyone and thoughts of a revolt begin to cross people's minds. President Snow demonstrates that he will go to any length to prevent a revolution. This puts Katniss in a very dangerous situation, as she recently became the symbol of an uprising. While there is more story than action in this novel, readers will get the hand to hand combat they're looking for and moving tales of love, loss and revolution.
